Default Hesitation?

I'm new to this forum, so pardon me if this has already been covered. I presently drive a 99 Passat V6 which has a very smooth engine, however it has a very annoying hesitation in the 1800-2000 RPM range. I assume that's when the intake plumbing changes from low to high RPM settings. Since the S4 has won most or all comparisons with the M3, I would assume that it does not suffer this hesitation. My next car will probably be an S4 or A6 2.7T.

Default i know exactly what you are talking about ...

i have a 00 passat v6 wagon and a 00 S4, both with tiptronic, and i can tell you that the S4 doesn't have that hesitation at all.<p>-josh
