Enjoyed your article - your car is the same one I have ordered here in Canada. I'm looking forward to the pictures of silver leather. Sorry to hear about the chip on the hood - that would really bite! Have you found the silver leather hard to keep clean? Do your friends like the interior? Appreciate your comments.

First time trying to use the picture poster! You can also find some other pic's of my Silver/silver at http://www.quattroclubusa.org/r/potomac/
Click on "images" and then "S cars" for some exterior shots as well as the interior shot.

Is it just my imagination, or does the wood look ever so brown? Every time (three times) I've seen the Gray Maplewood trim in person, it's been... gray. But when I see it in a photo, it always makes me feel like the wood is brown but the photo is just too pale to show it enough.
Does anyone with Gray Maple have a tinge of color to it, or is it literally gray (and my mind is twisting the colors from the photos)?
Does anyone else suffer any illusion of brownish wood color in the photos?

Under really bright sunlight, I can actually see some warmer brown undertones to the gray maple. I think they use a bleaching process on the maple to make it gray, but in bright light (and camera flash?) some of the natural tones remain.
I took the posted picture along with several other interior shots on a really sunny day, and where the sunshine is prominent you see the brown tones, but in the shaded areas it usually seems all gray.
