little dissapointed. Yes it was my first time there with the car, yest it was 90 deg and humid, yes its a Tip....but....I expected better. I ran a 14.3, 14.2, 14.1, 14.0, 13.98 in that order(14 sec runs are est to tenth). 13.98 was best run at 97.17. my reaction times were that of a snail .420 on the 13 sec run and .315 was my best reaction time overall, I think my 60 foot was good for a tip....2.075. Best I could brake torque it was approx 2300 rpms then the car started to lurch(yes I need a 6spd) I wasnt expecting 12's or 13.0 but at least 13.5, 13.6. I ran the 100 oct program also so I expected better. I would assume the temp and humidity had something to do with it...any thoughts? I am faster from a roll. I raced my buddy in an 02 mustang GT (300 at the crank) on the way to the strip. Ran from 60mph, had him by three lengths up to 120 mph. He beat me at the strip by .06...I realize the auto sux but WTF!

how much fuel did you have in the tank?
< 1/4 is ideal. Also, did you remove the spare tire? Weight reduction is key.
You were able to attain a good 60'. The reaction times are usually meaningless when it comes to overall quarter mile time. Best I ever got was 14.2 w/ mtm ecu and catback. MTM is weaksauce for the dragstrip but excellent for overall everyday driving.
