Default I didn't measure/fluke it tbo. I'm still running the same sensor fwiw. I'll respond more

when I get back later today.

Default Oh, I wasn't saying it was a bad sensor at all, just curious about the connections

Obviously if going to a more direct connection setup fixed it, it wasn't the sensor

I generally dislike crimped connections, I give exception to the more swaged like ones done by expensive crimping tools. The cheapies with a slit up the side and a pair of $5 crimpers, meh..

Default Looking through the archives, it looks like you got a hitachified maf from piggie?

I bet he probably has an extra set of hitachi wires to sell you, or could tell you the PNs. Granted you didn't need them at the time like an A box conversion would.

Default I looked up the # and it's 000-979-126..

audi says that the 000-979-133 is a direct crossover but it's not. i'll take the part up there later and see what they say.

Default Good luck! It's really sad they you can't get the right part and you aren't even trying to do

anything tricky! Just replace a stock part :/

Update: 000-979-131 is the new correct PN# for Hitachi MAF wires.
