Default Hmmm.. Something to ponder.

So the AutoSpeed car did 490whp right? And a stock car on the same dyno does 213whp right?

So when you compare that dyno to our super happy pink little pony dynojet@Harmann my car did 467whp on race gas and a stock s4 does 197whp on pump.

And my car with the exact same setup did 427whp on GIACs Mustang..... seems as though neither of the SoCal dynos are the little pink pony calibrated dynos. Has there been any logs posted from the gt25 car yet? No offense to AutoSpeed, Mark, or the owner of the car but I'm a little skeptical of the dyno numbers at this point.

and for reference my car did 416whp on pump on the same dynojet@Harmann

Just for comparo here is the AutoSpeed plots

Default It's still powerful as all hell, so I'm not concerned...

I have the opposite problem of dynoing on the "death dyno" on which an AWE stg3 can barely make 300hp.

The GT kit is so detuned that peak HP really doesn't matter - it'll run whatever boost the stock engine can handle. What does matter is that it spools well.

Default Good points. Do you know what a stock car does on your "death dyno"?

What makes you think the car is so detuned? The car obviously makes big power and probably is faster on pump gas then a K04 car on race gas. Just was comparing somethings and thought I would share. I know Diego and I caught a bunch of **** from everyone when we posted those dynos, that the dyno read SUPER high. And I agree it does but not quite as high as it appears that Mustang reads.

Default It's pink _MY_ little pony SIR!!!

You can question dyno charts all you want...but I'll be DAMNED if you simply call it a pink little pony </end sarcasm>

Good point, I'll be interested in what comes of this thread

I think there is going to be a lot of interest very soon in stronger engine internals. :-p

Would be interesting to see your car on the same dyno.

there is a stock car's run for comparison on both dynos so you can adjust, no?
