Default Looks like the clamp is tight and there are no irregularities other than slightly pulled back.

Are you experiencing any high end power loss? I wouldn't worry about it unless you think you have some power loss or if some expert on this board says, "are you kidding you need to attach a whole new S4 to that boot" ;-)

actually, I have been noticing what I felt like was some surging in the upper
rev range, but it is probably just AW paranoia
I'll keep an eye out for power loss.

loosen clamp.. Shove the intake pipe in the boot and tighten at same time..
