Default Hmmmm.....what do I do?

I mean, what do I do with myself? I'm on my 2nd to last day of work at KLA-Tencor, my office is about 80% packed up, and all my projects are done or handed off. The office would be clean if I wasn't distracted by this damn (I mean awesome) forum.

Perhaps I should just leave and cruise around in my S4 (here's the Audi content). I can't wait to drive the hell out of it at the autoX this Saturday. Oh, wait, I'm driving Sharon's S4, all the better. ;-)<p>Corey S

Default Hey Corey, I had an interesting encounter with a, ugh - what the heck was that :)

Last night, coming home from your place, doing my nominal 10mph over the limit in Lawrence when I saw this tiny car start to accelerate as it tried to get onto Lawrence - like trying to catch me or something. Sure enough, on the first traffic light, when I accelerated briskly to pass a Civic so I can merge left, I saw it side by side with me accelerating briskly also.

Next traffic light, we were side by side, Still didn't know what it was, but it was a tiny 2 seater car. I accelerate fast on 1st, shift to second, I was pulling away so slightly, but at 15mph over the limit (65) I let go, so it passed me a bit, then slowed down. It was the new Toyota mid-engine MR-S. I think I bruised it's ego a bit

Next traffic light, we were again side by side. This, I did a quattro launch - 4000 rpm clutch dump. Instant 1 car ahead. 2nd gear, pull some more distance, 3rd gear, my little 12V starts to run out of steam, I can start to see him inch forward, but I let go of the gas (65 again), so I never let him know he could take me I'm so mean.

The next traffic light, will this ever end? This time there was another car to my right who wants to join the fun - some Dodge avenger. I did another Quattro launch, he he. Same exact scenario. 1 car away, 2nd gear, pull slightly, then ran out of steam on 3rd, but let go of the gas. Aargh! his ego is really bruised - 4 times in a row.

5th light! Jeez, I better stop. I accelerated slowly as he and that trying hard Dodge go at it. Tire's squeel as I witness, he took the avenger, but slowed down when he realized I wasn't playing anymore. I turn off to 237, he just goes behind me as I drive about 75 to 80 all the way home.

All I can say is it better not play with chipped 1.8's or S4's, otherwise he might just dump the car he he.

Default Think of ten ways you can rice up your S4 :)

Give specifics too. Like what kind/brand of beer can you want to use as an exhaust. The louder the better. It should also sound LOUDER as you downshift.

This should kill some time.

Curb Feelers
Yosemite Sam Mud Flaps (or chrome ladies)
20" Gold Plated Baby Dayton wheels (200+ spoke)
255/20/13 Uniroyal tires (White Walls, Z rated)
Fur steering wheel cover (much cooler than leather in the summer heat)
Eight Ball Valve Stem Caps
Knight Rider "Bowtie" Steering Wheel by Momo
Exxon Tiger Tail to hang out of trunk (it's so damn funny)
Clear Plastic floor mats...oh yeah, I already have them
T-Shirt/Seat Covers - Great for going to the beach

Let me know if you have any other suggestions. Thanks for all your help.

Where did you get your tint installed?
