Thanks the hose was supposed to be good to ~125psi, and I'm sure the brass is much stronger.

Default Evaporative emissions/vacuum source as far as I could tell, but it also has to hold boost pressure

when not under vacuum. It attaches to the intake manifold just after the throttle plate.

2001+ S4's and tips don't have this hose as far as I know.
