Default Homebrew Intake and W/I Low MAF readings AFR lean spike.

Since noone responded to my last post I decided to take some pics of the logs. (sorry for bad quality) My laptop is from 98 and I cant get any files off it. Floppy disk is broke, jump drive wont work.

These logs are with 0% primary pulled!!!
LTFT are 0.0% at part
Max 189 grams/second!
I drilled a hole and made a airduct with the airbox and drilled out MAF connection more because before I was getting 280+ with -23 primary!
Ever since I hooked up the W/I as soon as it comes on I get a lean spike to 16:1 for about .2 second then it richens up. Is this normal ?
Correction Factors are in the 11's
I still managed to pull 3.6x FATS in 80F.

my timing isn't bad.

See the low MAF values towards to the top of the rpms I'm not getting any more g/s.

This is my AFR before W/I normal curve.

Default Why are you only getting 189 g/s with an 85mm MAF at 22 psi? Something isn't right...

You should be up around 260.

This may seem like an odd question....but where are your nozzles for the W/I located?

Default Whew, ok! I thought perhaps you were spraying it into the maf! Didn't want to assume anything.

btw yor maf curve isn't showing up, you have the timing picture shown twice.

What size nozzle are you using? Too much water flow could do something like that.

Default 375cc/min at 100psi or whatever your w/i pump pressure is? If you leave the w/i turned off

now do you still have a low maf signal? Or does it come back to normal?

Default But this was after you open the maf up a bit? Make sure you didn't accidentally put a hole in the

housing or get the maf element seated/sealed poorly(or even damaged it).

As for the lean spike....your injector sizing seems ok. What manuf nozzle are you using? Do you use an accumulator and a one way check valve? How is the w/i activated(pressure only(what pressure), duty cycle, what)?
