Default Homebrew tuning suggestions?

I did a little logging last night. Unfortunately it was starting to snow here and I really could not do too much.

I will post the logs as soon as I can get them off the laptop I used for it. I realized as soon as I got home that the old laptop is missing the disc drive and dongle cable to plug into the internet (just moved, so they must be packed somewhere)

Looking for any suggestions on what you would do as a "baseline" or "basic" set up with these mods and information.

2000 S4
RS4 K04s
GIAC-X
TCD, MBC,
Greentops and adjustable FPR, RS4 MAF
Piggies and brullen cat back.
Darrin intake.

My elevation is 5000+ feet.

Here are just some basic observation.

CF got as high as 15
MAF sa high as 200.56
Injection time up to 15.64
Timing at 100 throttle 9.8 (seems to be all over the place, is that normal? range from 4.5 to 26.3)
Boost max wsa 1850 actual.

Sorry this is all the information I have at the moment. Roads are covered wtih snow now.

Default 12.3 psi acutal? You should be looking at your boost gauge to measure boost with this setup.

If you don't have a boost gauge, leave everthing alone until you get one. If you do have a boost gauge, raise boost until your maf is at least 260g/s. That should help your cfs. Also, you know you have to run the stock bosch maf element in the rs4 housing right?

Default Boost is around 18psi according to the gauge.

Your talking the MAF element from the original MAF inthe RS4 housing right?

I will double check for part numbers. Ordered the complete set up from ECS. Easy enough to change if I need to.

Yes. S4 element in the RS4 housing. That's why your g/s are so low and (probably) cfs high.

Default Okay, MAF question...

So even at my altitude of 5,280+ on an RS4 MAF I should see a higher reading? Just want to make sure I am clear. I have heard of multiplying the VAG reading by a correction factor of 1.29? Which 200 * 1.29 is 258. Am I on the wrong track here? What am I missing?

Default I can't comment on what you should be seeing with that setup. I did log a couple of 2nd gear pulls

with an RS4 maf and it's reading was at least 25% lower than the S4 element. Installing an S4 element will go a long way towards getting your maf reading to expected values.
Don't forget to pull some fuel with lemmi when you get the S4 maf in or it will be dripping fuel out of the tailpipe.
