Default homelink Q

ok i stfa and here is what i found(below). however the link wont open the garage. this happened once before.. my previous house had a 2 car garage and i could program one door, but not the other. now at my current house i cannot program the homelink for some reason. does it only accept certian frequencies?

"When you receive the HomeLink visor there will be no instructions telling you how to program it! Fortunately HomeLink provides instructions on the website. Hold the two outboard buttons for about 20 seconds. Twenty seconds is a long time when you're sitting in your car, but wait for the LED to flash. Then, hold your garage door opener about one to three inches away from the HomeLink and simultaneously press the button on the opener and button you select to open your garage on the HomeLink. Wait until the light flashes then release the button. Obviously, if you are doing this in your garage take care to ensure that there is nothing blocking the garage door that could be hurt or damaged while you are programming."

Default if the opener has a rolling frequency, you need to push the button on it as well.

take your shoes off and stand through your sunroof

Default Yes, this is likely the deal. should be a "learn" button on the opener itself that has to be

pressed. Then you press the button in the car and they should sync up.

Default Here's what you have to do.

#1 Clear Homelink
#2 Program the homelink with the garage remote.
#3 Push the button on the side of the opener itself.
#4 Hit the Homelink button 2-3 times.
