How accurate is Vag Com block 120 in calculating hp figures?

How accurate is Vag Com block 120 in calculating hp figures?

It reads torque and speed accurately, so I figure HP is a byproduct...pretty exact

Default VAG-COM doesn't read torque. The HP "calculation" is based on internal ECU data and is very

inaccurate, particularly on non-stock ECUs.

If you change wheel/tire size that will have an effect on the figure, correct?

Default Good to know. I was logging the block often and getting close to 350-360 whp

and got bummed when I only saw a 2 hp difference after installing my dumps...guess I'll have to dyno to get the real #'s for sure ;-)

The esp is activated at 600 Nm or ~445 ft/lbs eng. tq. Vag reads this, no?
