How bad is it to "brake launch" with a Tip

I would guess it does almost nothing to the brakes, but the tc clutch won't like it.

If the wheels aren't turning, then no much is happening to the brakes.

it's the only way to "launch" a tip...

but it's very hard on the torque converter and like "launching" a manual is hard on the clutch (but more expensive).

Never had a problem with my tranny but didn't launch it too often though I did drag-race it a few times at the strip.

Doesn't do anything significant to the brakes.
