How can I fix this?

My driverside mirror doesn't tint when it gets dark at night (very noticable when compared to the rearview and passengerside mirror). However, it does tint when I tap on the mirror. Something must be loose. Can someone enlighten me on taking this apart?

Inside door panel has to come off, why not take it to the dealer?

If you try, and break it worse, they may not cover it.
