Default You should be able to buy a cap for one end at a plumbing/ hardware store and also get a coupling

and pvc cap. Basically like the set-up awe has to pressure test your entire car, but small enough to fit on the intercooler inlet ot outlet.<ul><li><a href="http://www.awe-tuning.com/pages/shared/part_detail.cfm?PMaI=1&amp;PMoI=4&amp;PEI=6&amp;PP =s4_27t_drivetrain.cfm&amp;PPT=Drivetrain&amp;IL=p ressure%20tester">clicky here</a></li></ul>

Seal, pressurize, emerse in water, look for bubbles. Shouldn't take much pressure.

Default This may sound stupid but....

it worked for me. Fill up a large sink with water... submerg the IC with one hand firmly plugging one end... then BLOW in the other and look for bubbles - seriously! It may not be elegant, but it works.

I found a leak between the plastic 'cap' and the main body - which I resolved by cramping down on the crimps with vice-grips.
