Default How can I repair a fuel line puncture?

I have a small cut in a fuel line in the front passenger side wheel-well. Is there a way to repair the fuel line without removing and replacing it?

A new piece can be spliced in.

What do you use to make the new connections?

Default Assuming the cut isn't any longer than a 1/4 inch go to nappa and ask for a 10mm (3/8) nylon fuel

line splice. I am not 100% sure it is 10mm at that point but it likely is. Really just ask them everything you need and they'll take care of you.

Default Buy some rubber fuel line and hose clamps... either cut the puncture out...

or splice in a new piece depending on the size of the dammage.

If you have room, you could double up on the hose clamps.

Don't you need a high pressure fuel line, also the splice, would that cause more pressure on pump!

Will nylon or rubber work in an application that currently looks like an insulated steel line?

Is it a braided steel line? You will have to replace that whole line if it is.
