Just my opinion... Dual action sander = way too aggressive- - ->
You'll end up with a balancing nightmare.
I've often pondered how best to polish lips...I would make a jig that allows you to spin the wheel, and lay a very fine abbrasive pad on the lip as it spins. You'll be more likley to take off an even amount.
That's how the pros do it.
