I'm doing both the inner and outer CV Boots. I found the tech for the outer ones and have one of the outer CV's off. Now how do I get the inner off? The same way???

1) Call Raxles.com
2) Wait 48 Hours
3) Open package and replace axle.
4) Pack up old axle
5) Ship back
This method is simplified a bit and I'm not responsible for any problems using this method.

undo all the bolts holding the shafts to the spindle and tranny , take the bolts that hold the upper ctrl arms in place , unbolt the tierod , "peel" the uprights to the sides, and pull the shafts out.
if you pull the rubber boots toward each other you'll see the clips holding the cv-s in place .
if you replace both you can just undo the other one and pull both the same way (both boots pulled out on toward the outer cv).
that is one DIRTY job i'd hate to do ;(

So you're saying that I can pull the INNER CV boot off by pulling/pushing it the entire length of the shaft and taking it off the outer end while the outer CV is off? The thin side of the inner boot will stretch enough to move down the thick part of the shaft???

One boot was leaking a little. I decided to replace both boots, well actually all 4 boots for around $15/ea.

IMO for rebuilt joints on both ends plus the fact most cars don't have as high a mileage as you or me. Which means that the replacements are probably not from super high mileage cars and haven't had stage 3 TQ being run through them for over 50k+ miles. I just replaced one on my car for piece of mind and it was just leaking a little on an outer. (The other axle I replaced with a factory new one 2 years ago that was somehow slipping on the outer joint slines causing boots to tear) If i had a low mileage stage2 car I probably wouldn't, but it works out in my favor, statistically, that I'll have gotten a better axle than what I returned as a core. I don't abuse my axles by any means, but I do feel that they are a next weak link in the chain, esp if you do launches on the car.
