How do I remove the lower ball joint on the front upright/spindle to control arm?

figured that....but how is a taper any diff from the other ball joint pins?

Default you need a fork looking tool.. i tried couple that did not work tho'.. pull the spindle WITH

the lower ctrl attached .. that is a much much easier way.

Default top ones came out "nicely", however I have done a few suspension installs, so those have been

exercised a few times over the years. The only one on the top which was difficult is the tie rod end, because you have to bang it downwards and there's not much room above it to pound it out. I cut a ~2" section of a broken 1/2" socket extension that I had. I put that inside and banged it down with a 2lb? sledge.

The top control arm ones I hit upwards with a drift & sledge. Same for the various bolts.

Didn't want to go screwing up this last one though because it seemed to swivel differently that the rest. I'll play more tomorrow....
