If I wanted to burn the K03's, what would do this? As in what would cause the turbos to burn out prematurely?

I just purchased a used one and I have suspicisions that the turbos won't be around much longer and was wondering what would have caused this. The mods to the car would probably void the warranty any ways. The "spool-up" sound is very apparant and sounds like a loud dentist drill. I'v heard that this is the first sign on turbo failure. Will a dealer warranty turbos if changes have been made to the software?

you should have had the vehicle properly examined prior to purchase if you were concerned...if you didn't, then caveat emptor. IF you got a clean bill of health from THAT dealership claiming the turbos were in perfect operating condition, THEN id say you have a cause for conern if in fact your turbos are toast...but you need to show that they are in fact toast, and that you have not accelerated their demise.

Accelerating their demise, when you clearly ask whether a dealer will warranty turbos is fraud, plain and simple.
