But Mike, there's no way the arm could lean so much as to cause that type of rubbing.

Sure could if the inner bushing is completely separately from the outer housing.

thank you do i need to replace the whole control arm ? or can i just get the bushings ?

Default You can replace just the bushing... however...

The rubber boot that others have mentioned very soon goes out also, which CANNOT be replaced by itself.
You're better off replacing the entire arm.

Default hmm.. i might just get the bushing for now.. is the bushing the one on your site ?

and get the control arms later if needed
