I saw this yellow A4 today at CompUSA sporting the body colored painted rocker panels, big *** wheels and an S4 badge on the back. I didn't see if it had an S4 front bumper on it.. but I wouldn't be surprised.
It wasn't even Imola.. it was A4 yellow. I dunno.. but if I had an A4, I'd be all down for fixing it up, but I wouldn't be caught dead with an S4 badge on the back. It's just so poser... I'd feel like such a loser when a real S4 rolled around the corner.

At least you're not advertising your car as something its not by sticking the valances on. I personally like the S4 valances better than most of the aftermarket ones available...
The S4 badge is a HUGE no no...thats like sticking a Type R sticker on an EX.

Hehehe.. your question sounds like I'm being setup here. Anyway...
Strangely enough.. if it was a good conversion, and it looked like an S4, I would have no problem with it as long as it didn't have the S4 badge. The look of the S4 is an aggressive, sporty version of the A4, itself an attractive car. I wouldn't blame anyone for wanting to make their A4 look like an S4.
But claiming to be one by tacking on the badge is a whole other story. I think it's ricey.

Badges are lame. Be proud of what you've got or take em off and let peeps wonder. This guy doesn't think so.

... it'll look good at a distance, but the reality is that there's no substance behind it.
It exposes the poser for what he is and gives S4's and S4 owner's a bad image.
