How does a Borla 3" compare to a Milltek 3" in regards to sound?

As long as it doesn't drone, I could hit the Borla. Explanation of drone...
A constant sound at a specific RPM, not accelerating. For example, my APR V1 with no resonator droned @ 2k RPM in 6th gear just cruising...

Nope. I refuse to drop much more money into this car without a good reason....

Piggie and I originally thought it was due to exhaust leak(s), but it still shreiks all welded up.
Someone mentioned they had a similar experience and it was an internal weld that broke. Not sure how to fix that problem other than to replace with another cat-back or start hacking it up.

I guess I should have said I understand the meaning, but don't notice it in my car and I don't want anyone to point it out to me while I'm driving because then I will notice it.
I take things as a whole, and try not to pick them apart into details unless there is a specific reason to do so. I like the general picture I have of the sound of my exhaust. If I examine it closer then I might not be as happy with it. That doesn't benefit me or my wallet at all.
