how does one tighten tracksport top nut? shaft just spins. i guess it's tight enough

how does one tighten tracksport top nut? shaft just spins. i guess it's tight enough
since my clunk is gone (was prolly the sway bar link bolt looseninging).
impact wrench... it did naaathing.
also, is it okay that the strut bearing (rubber portion is all cracked and kinda loose in that steel tray with the two studs in it?
also, why is the hole in the sway bar so much bigger than the bolt that goes through it?
i made sure to have the bolt going the right way so that at least the unthreaded portion is in the sway bar hole. just seemed strange and very likely to clunk...

well stripped the indented allen wrench thing on rear sway links, thus ending the sway bar installat
