How hot do you think the headers get? Over 2000 degrees F perhaps?

i doubt it gets that hot. the EGT sensor is directly post turbo, right?
and it can't cool off that much between the header and the sensor . . .

thx. for some reason i thought i saw something about removing it
for doing a DP install. that may or may not be the case, but i assumed it was on the DP side of the turbo.
you know more about the car than me. based on your statement then EGT = header temp = ??. much less than 2000.

well, you can remove the passenger side EGT sensor to help
make moving the dp heat shield out of the way alot easier.
if someone made me guess, I'd say it would be less than 2000 based on those EGT's...
fwiw, T304 stainless melts at ~2600 degF
