my gas light comes on when I still have 4 gallons or so left.
it says i have zero miles to empty when there's still 2+ gallons in there...
so I'm usually around the 230-250mile mark when I fill up, which is generally 12-13 gallons.

FYI, I've always made 23-25, with about 2/3 highway. Done over 27 and 400+ miles/tank a few times...
on 90% highway driving if I'm not in a hurry and I keep it to the speed limit.

Re: what kind of MPG are you seeing? Are your O2s throwing any codes?
I just did a round trip to Charlotte from Raleigh and the trip puter showed 32.6mpg 
Rest of tank went as normal 2/3 HWY driving and work traffic. My total was approx 360 miles with 12.7 gal fillup.

shift into higher gear and keep the rev's low??? are you tip
I'm about 60/40 highway and stick at 22 mpg when around the city by going from 3rd to 5th whenever I can make a few lights. It hasn't made it improve so much as it hasn't made it decrease.
