Default How long does it take to switch between programs on APR?

Something interesting during a dyno session, switching between 91 and 93 programs did not yield any difference in power output. Just wondering how long it actually takes the ECU to adapt. Is it instantaneous? Dyno session would seem to be contrary to this.

Default LTFTs and CFs are "sticky" and the ECU needs several pulls and some driving around...

to adapt between different programs and fuels.
This is what APR has told me and I've verified with my own testing.

Yes, it is instantaneous. Do you have stock programming to verify?

you can reset them by clearing all codes with VAGCOM

Default I still don't believe this "sticky" BS....

SLRPS4 has IBE. He came to my house running 94 and X chip. He ran his tank empty on the way to my house. He then poured in 100 octane and changed to "race" program. We logged his first WOT run and he already has 20+ degrees of timing in mid range and damn near 30 degrees of timing on the top end. We drove for 5 min at the very most before logging.

Default Call it what you want...

I switched to a 93 code on 104 gas and it took a couple pulls for the CFs to adapt. He asked about APR, I answered him about APR, what the fvck does X have to do with that?
And am I supposed to know what IBE is?

I'd think they all react similarly. IBE is like ECMS/EMCS for APR.

Default I think you are right. The dyno is showing that it's not adapting right away...

It was on 93, right before the first pull we switched to 91. Did a couple runs and then switched to 93 and did a couple runs and then when we weren't seeing any difference in output, started to flip back and forth and this would explain that all the runs are pretty much just same program runs. As it was trying to adapt, we would switch it to a different program.

No, I only have two slots. I wish I had stock. Stock put out 188 hp on this dyno the same day.

Default IBE is like EMCS? Maybe they accomplish

the same thing, switching programs, but what information leads you to conclude that they should do that in a similar manner? It wouldn't surprise me at all to find that the software coding behaves differently.
