How many disable the EDL or ABS for launching at the drag strip? Does it help much?

Default How many disable the EDL or ABS for launching at the drag strip? Does it help much?
I know on 2000 models you can run a EDL bypass switch, but not sure what later models with ESP do?

Uhh... ESP is the only thing I've heard of disabling for launching

I believe EDL comes off when ESP is turned off. ABS isn't affected by the ESP switch iirc.

No, turning off the ESP only turns off the ESP. EDL is still active.
