Now when I launch w/o slipping just dropping it, I can smell to burnt clutch.

It's all about how to treat your clutch. I launch it nice, even with 1.85's and granny shift thru the 1/4 and my clutch should last for quite a while

On the stock clutch, we went a full ProSolo season, and part of the prior season, and it never "went out" on us.
ProSolo uses drag race starts, we typically launch 5-5500 rpm + Probably a couple hundred launches like this on the stock setup.
When we pulled it to do the Stage 3 upgrade, we swapped for an RS4 clutch and pressure plate, plus AWE's lightweight flywheel. It's handling the new power and launching a few hundred rpm higher quite nicely.
The stock clutch had definite signs of stress/heat spotting, but still lots of material left, it would have gone a bit more if we didn't do power upgrades, but much more than Stage II is pushing it, IMO. I don't think that we could have put the same abuse on it with the Stage 3, but it certainly survived well all things considered.
