How many psi is used to open the WGs?

I want to hook up a compressor to the line to check for tears because they aren't opening and my N75 cycle seemed fine and everyone was saying that N75s usually break open not closed.

its becoming more and more common for the lines from the N75 to the WG to tear as these cars get older. I just replaced my driver side line b/c it split a few inches above the WG.

I believe the WG closes when pressure is applied to the line
If you do find a tear, cross your fingers that its not the WG line on the passenger turbo, because its almost impossible to change it out without pulling the engine. Drivers side would be a pain too, but not as bad
Mine failed right where the metal part of the hose is crimped onto the rubber . . .logs looked something like this before changeout:
