You will notice a difference with a chip AND exhaust. Like Mark, I also tried a chip with stock exhaust and it sucks. It is really noisy at WOT, and not a nice noise either.

As far as your dealer, they won't void your warranty for aftermarket exhaust. And just make sure you get a spare ECU with your chip.

I had my turbos warrantied when I had an MTM exhaust (and no chip) -- no questions asked...

i get the sand blaster noise as well. But i have to save more pennies to get an exhaust.
