With the VM2, I just don't feel the tidal wave of boost (boost spike, whatever) when stepping into the throttle from steady cruising speeds like I felt before. I'm wondering how much the smoother flow of an aftermarket exhaust smoothes and flattens out the boost.

I think it should be compulsory that a person who chips a car must also put exhaust on. The power is much smoother, and I'm sure there's a lot less strain on the system when it can exhale better.
