Don't know cost of stock clutch, but the RS4 clutch is $545 from AWE, lightweight flywheel is $850, or combo is $1350.

Default thanks, i think my clutch is gone because>>>

in any gear the RPM's will fly up to 5000 if I floor it and then eventually grab. The wierd thing is, I don't smell anything burning up nor have I ever burned up the clutch since I've bought it. Possibly the clutch was beatin up by the previous owner. I don't know

Default Getting a RS4 clutch put in as we speak...

Feel it is a good upgrade. It really hurts the wallet as once you add up the labor costs (getting it done at the dealer) and the parts. The dealer is charging 'around' 1000 bucks to put in the clutch and I provided the parts. Not so happy about the price but it has to get done now since my stocker is so shot, any sort of boost causes the clutch to slip. List of things getting done to car: clutch, washer fluid leak check, coolant system leak check, new fuel sender, 710N Divertor valve install, tire plug and oil change. All at 57k.

I agree it's a good upgrade, but I plan on waiting until my stocker goes.
