Default Ouch... Though I recall I got a better time at Auto-X...
at the quattro Challenge than you. This is with your car and blown rear shocks too.

The thing is that I don't know how feasible it is for a DIY'er to get this done? From his description of the work performed, it seemed like it required the transmission to be at least dropped and possible changes to the internals as well.

I don't know how the tranny is setup on the S4 but I will ask for the details. Hopefully I'll remember most of them this time.

Default My 328i had the greatest shifter feel ever. My Ucc is a MAJOR step up from stock but (m)
it's still no Bimmer. The Ucc feels alot like the shifter in the Wrx, good but not great.

Default Does it fix that damn notchy feel?
The stock stick is not at all smooth. Can service smooth it out a bit or are we stuck with it or do a mod?

i don't understand our poor shifters. aren't the bmw & audi trannys both made by ZF?
