It is simple to do the math. Torque at wheel= pressure of system * total area of pistons in caliper
* friction co-efficient of pads * effective radius of clamping force of the rotor. If you take out the constants, then piston area x effective radius of rotor will give you a value relative to the stock system brake torque potential and the aftermarket kits with pads and line pressure being the same of course. 332mm is the only size that will fit under stock Avus so those are the only kits I used. The HP-2s are 43mm twin sliders. According to the technical white papers at Stoptech (See definition of Brake Torque and Clamping Force by Stephen Ruiz, Engineering Manager and Carroll Smith, Consulting Engineer at STOPTECH LLC), on sliders you multiply the piston area by two. That is also where I got the equation. Piston size for Porsche/Brembo 993 TT is 36mm/44mm on 321mm rotors. For Stoptech ST-40s = 36mm/40mm on 332mm rotors. For S8 Audimotorsport Brembos it is 40mm/44mm on 332mm rotor. Hence, after two kits it is back to enhancing stock parts.
