Not much less than both, I'd imagine. Engine needs to come out.

Default Never read anything as WHY? The KO3 is the same for the 2.7 & 1.8, correct? Is there some kind

selection/matching process (like vacuum tubes), and if so, what does it entail?

Default They aren't the same...

...and because if one is gone, the other may go as well. Do you want to pay twice?

Yep. Having one go puts an enormous amount of stress on the other.

Default If the shaft broke on the driver's side turbo, it may be because you have compressor or turbine

strike on the passenger side. If for any reason one turbo isn't spinning as fast or producing enough boost, the other gets overspeeded to make up the work. I did the same thing and replaced my driver's side turbo with a used unit from e-bay only to grenade that one soon after. After I decided to pull the motor and replace them both I found out the passenger's side had compressor strike.
