Default How much for MTM Chip and is it the best?

Is MTM better than the other chip manufacturers? Is their chip more powerful and reliable? I have heard that some dealers warrant their chips. I have also heard that they are considerable more expensive than other chips. It seems that more people have the other chips, but I would like some info on the MTM Chip. How much is it, and what makes it different than the others?

Thanks<p>David J

Default MTM Chip

MTM's head designer guy was very closely related to Audi. Therefor he knows the car well and hence, under that assumption, can make a good chip for the car. Go visit http://www.hoppenmotorsport.com/ to get info on their chip like price. Powerwise the MTM chip is about as good as most of the others, Plus or minus a few ft/lbs and one maybe two hp. With MTM you are paying more for the name than you are the chip

Default As far as I know, they might be the only chips without the fade

problem where everyone has to pull the battery cable. If so, they would be my first choice. I'm stock of course

Default Chip "fade" is a myth.....

Had my APR chip for 9000 miles. There is no "fade". Yes, at times the engine does behave differently, but that all has to do with air temp, humidity, etc. You will get a bit used to the power over time, as with any vehicle, but I really don't believe in this "fade" thing. As far as customer service, APR is excellent. I would recommend them or MTM with regards to products.

Default Let's not forget the Pen and Stickers APR Sends too

Well the stickers are gay but the pen writes, more than I can say for the one that came with car......
