You mean to tell me that the dealer had to pay $2,850 to sell you a car? Thats really cool...wish my dealer would do that. I always thought that dealers did invoice OVER deals...or msrp UNDER deals...but never invoice UNDER deals. Ya learn somethin new every day.

Kidding aside....didn't you mean MSRP less $2,850? If you got dealer cost (aka invoice) minus $2,850, someone got screwed badly....either the car was a lemon return....and the dealer was trying to get rid of it very quickly...or something else very strange was going on. Why would a dealer in their right mind sell a car almost $3K below what they paid for it? (btw, I am not confusing the issue with holdbacks at this time).

you are pretty fortunate. The best I could do with a Cincinnati dealer was a few hundred off on my order. It was a hard pill to swallow.

The amount off MSRP(I knew that's what you meant) was exactly $2916 on mine. It was the first one they sold, and they traded with another dealer to get me the one I wanted. I'm glad I could help.

I just ordered my S4 tonight. I called all the local dealers and played them all against each other and the best I could do was $1200 off MSRP. I was happy, until I saw your post.... What did you do to get them to knock so much off, or do they have alot of S4s in stock?
