Default How much would a shop charge to install new Coilovers?

I'm probably going to buy some Koni coilovers from purems.com, but I dont have any jacks/lifts/tools to do the work on my own, so how much should a shop charge to install all 4?

So depending on the rate, say 3-5 hours. Anywhere from 100-500. The rest of this post is a mess. lol

I rented out a shop for a 1.75 of crown royal. And then rented a shop hand for $120 last weekend and had full use of all of thier tools. Impact, lift, 3 full sets of metric wrenches.... the works. But I also really like DIY. It's just one more thing I can do myself now.

It took me 10 hours but I also did all 4 wheel bearings, all the front control arms, front axles, rear brakes and rotors. I also did a spring and shock combo, not coilovers..

Coilovers should be easier to install. Plus most of that time was spent with removing the uprights something that you wouldn't need to do.

I figured if I did this all again. I could do it in 6-7 with what I learned. If i was just doing the suspension... Alot less time. Maybe 2 hours for the fronts, and 2 hours for the rears.

Don't forget to check out places like body shops, they can normally do our alignments as well which you will need. They might be happy to have some work as in tough economic times things like cosmetic work on cars can go on the decline, they might be willing to cut you a deal.

If you are trying to lower your car, it might be wise to get adjustable control arms, my car was lowered a bit more than I would have liked by the kit I used, I don't know why... Since our camber cannot be adjusted with our upper control arms I had a hell of a time getting an alignment and now my camber is slightly over -2 degrees.
