Default How to remove rear trim on avant hatch?
I'm trying to fit a full size spare in per MarkFrank's suggestion. He wrote that the trim comes out by removing the two T20 screws holding the trim in. I've done that and it still seems rock solid. Default There are some metal spring tabs. You have to do some prying and it'll pop off.
Scary but it'll go.

got it. broke the spring tabs, though. I hate removing interior panels.

Ah, that sucks. Yeah it's always a risk when you pull those types of things off.
