I went and bought a bunch of torx sockets to remove the bolts to the bumper shocks so I could get at the snub mount. First one came out fine. The second one required a lot of torque, and finally the socket cammed out and slipped, destorying the female end of the torx bolt. Did the same thing to bolt #3, trashed the torx socket, and quit.
Question is: how do I get these bolts out now that the heads are stripped?
Thank you very much, this ordeal is turning into a real PITA.

What's next?
Could I file down the outside of the bolt and try to use a bolt-out extractor? Would that work?
What's next after that? Welding torch?
