Default how should I prepare an RS4 grill trim for painting?

I assume a light sanding, what grit should I use?

And yes, I will throw some clearbra over the trim once painted.

Default Yes sir.

If you don't it will chip off very quickly. I just did some light sanding with 200 grip paper. So far, so good.

Default when i first got it, it chipped easily turned out the person who

painted it the first time didnt even sand it. So I got it repainted by a reputable local shop, they sanded, primed then painted it and it looks great and hasnt chipped once since.
