I meant, if I wanted to make upgrades, should I be worried about the Tiptronic breaking; should I look for a 6-speed instead?

It's that simple. And this guys isn't running any kind of fueling. So what has everyone's eyebrow cocked is the level of boost run against the amount of fuel supplied. If you run lean, you might grenade your engine. apparantly, running k04s beyond 20-22psi shortens their lifespan significantly. Like running k03s at 17-19psi is very bad.

as far as i can remember, when we were getting rid of the throttle cut, we ran lean at around 18psi before we got anywhere near redline. way over 100% duty cycle that the ecu requested. 5 bar fpr + M box injectors + k04's.

screwed. The really sad thing is that REVO did this to his car. With no warning that it really wasn't safe. 98% duty cycle -- are you kidding me?? Poor kid, he comes on posting and getting his friends to post not to talk **** to him and his engine's a timebomb waiting to blow.

etc. They don't touch the gears, just the parts that cause gears to shift.
