Default I have noticed lately that my X does the same.

I requested spikes then tapers to 3-4 psi lower than my actual. Now of course with the TCD the actual boost is stuck at 1 bar. But what would make my requested go below 1 bar? This is for homebrew stage 3 tip.

Default If you had no TCD and ran N75, your actual would taper with your requested (at least mine did).

You can't compare actual and requested when you have a TCD and MBC only.

Default Requested goes below 1 bar because that's how it's programmed for K03s.

Taper up top. K03s can't healthily maintain +1 bar to redline.

Default Are you talking about Meraj's car?

If so, that somebody was me.

I told him that if the car is requesting 2300 millibar and the actual is not there, that is a hardware issue and not software.

However, this data is different than what Meraj told me. He said the requested was much higher. He saw 2400 millibar at some points.

His boost gauge was not matching up with his logging. I said that was a hardware issue and not the software.

Possible issues are boost leak, or bad N75 valve.

Default I know you keep pounding that into me but I keep asking. ;)

BTW, I got those injectors from VAST and once I get things swapped out I'll send you some logs. I should probably do some logs that morning before the swap too?

Default There must have bee a miscommunication between the two of you.

It's not that his car isn't making requested boost, but that request boost is low compared to other stage 3 cars which is resulting in a slow car...relatively speaking.

Default

Cool. Before and after logs are always nice, not going to turn them down.

Default Out of curiosity....

How come you did not just come right out and say that Meraj was speaking to Mike at AWE and this is what he told him?

You made the post, why leave out all the details?

Default for the record: im going to do a few runs tonight....

going to log 115 and take a look at my requested and actual boost.

mike -- my car seems like its kinda of weak. dunno why, but it does. just looking to find out what could be wrong with it.

my VDO boost gauge sees a spike of around 20 PSI, then it dies down to 15 or 16 PSI till redline.

Default I didn't want to come right out and say you gave that advice, would make you look bad...

I didn't know if you'd be around to address it or not. I simply wanted to know if it were a possible explanation even though I can't personally make the connection. I never was going to mention you.
