how is your satisfaction with Audi's navigation system?

think of it like the built in stereo...
it works pretty good. but... aftermarket ones have more features. and aftermarket ones are usually cheaper.
one thing to think about is accuracy. the built in system uses not only GPS, but tire rotations to calculate your position. aftermarket systems will only use GPS, so they won't be as accurate.
i got my S4 used and it had the nav system. i like it. it gets me places just fine. and it works good enough that i'm not going to replace it with aftermarket stuff.

Save your money...
After using an aftermarket Alpine unit in my other car, I was thoroughly unimpressed with the Audi unit. Not having a visual (color map) display is a big negative. Also, the Audi unit only seems to get to to the general area (i.e. 200 block), where my Alpine unit takes me to the specific address. I admit the Alpine unit is more money, but you get what you pay for...
Save your money for a chip. It's much more fun!

Re: think of it like the built in stereo...
I plan to install an Alpine when mine arives...I currently use the Delorme Tripmate on a Notebook....and it is VERY accurate, even w/o the gyroscope that the Alpine has...The only thing the Alpine is lacking is a touch screen, which is only available in Acura's.
