Default hre c20: so what do folks think?

took off my bbs lm's for these hre c20's today.

personally, i think from an aesthetic standpoint there are some improvements and some regressions relative to the lm. in particular, i prefer the flatter spoke design of the lm and the way the lip is squared-off near the tire. on the other hand, i love the brushed aluminum finish and polished lip on the c20, and the contours of the wheel do make for much more interesting reflections. there are also some nice details such as the embossing pictured below, and i dig the titanium fasteners.

yes, it's nice to have dilemmas like this ;-)

btw: i weighed 'em both, and the c20's are 6 pounds lighter than the lm's -- 19 pounds in 19x8.5.

Default are you over saturating in photoshop or are these pics straight from teh camera?

about the rims, even though the HRE are lighter, the BBS still look more business and the HRE still scream baller to me.

Default hre's are lighter, stronger, better brake clearance ...

basically completely outclass the lm in the "business" category -- make no mistake, the c20 is a better wheel than the lm on paper. but i agree the bbs "looks" more business-like. wonder how much of that is the bling finish on the hre's ;-)

as far as the pics, yeah there are a bunch of photoshop tweaks -- sorry but i had no choice because i shot in night mode by accident and the camera underexposed all the shots.

yea i dont doubt the HREs really are the better wheel, maybe a shotpeene/anodized finish would help

Default yeah it would make the wheel more business-like but ...

honestly my humble tt is no race car -- i thought it was better to go with a classy finish over a racy one.
