Humming/vibration coming from rear of car...when I reach about 55-60 i start to notice a
vibration when I am off the throttle or just holding constant speed. Once I start accelerating, it goes away, but returns when I release the throttle. In gear, out of gear, clutch in or out, doesnt make a difference. I am also having a clunking sound every time I shift or lift the throttle. Anyone? TIA

that's what I was suspecting...how can I check to see? I've noticed before a sort of pulsing,
humming sound that pulses faster as I pick up speed, but now I just have a pretty good hum/vibration above 55...sound like a bearing?

Load up each side as you are driving..
ie., get up to speed, and turn the wheel back and forth. If it is in fact a wheel bearing, you'll hear it when that particular side is loaded and vice versa.
