As others (humorously) pionted out...
There isn't much in Newark. As a professional, you'll probably find the train station within walking distance of the prospective office. You could easily live somewhere south, like Princeton, and hop the train up to Newark daily.

Thanks, but I want no part of Jersey. I'd be terrified to park my car anywhere.
There would be a time when I'd have to go to Newark for some reason, and I really don't want to be forced to rent a car. That's just absurd. Forget that entire state, AFAIC.
