I am going to put boost guage in the driver's side vent, how do I disconect

Default I am going to put boost guage in the driver's side vent, how do I disconect
the wires that light up the vent **** so I can take
the vent off and dremel the openning. I don't want to do it with the vent in the car. Thanks.

I can't remember for sure but I believe they just diconnect (unplug).

Default I don't see how it disconnects from the vent itself and when I follow the two wires
I can't see where they go. Thanks for your help.

You could just take the actual vent out, leaving the surround (and wires) in the car.

Default stick a butter knife in between the vent and the housing and it should pop out
the housing is what is wired in there. Then I splice tapped the housing wires so my gauge lights up with the parking lights.

you don't....just Pop out the vent you want the boost gauge on!!!
