I am looking for something I can work out of. I own an A6 Avant right now. What should you just replace with aftermarket parts as soon as you get it. I read a lot about boost leaks and failed turbo's. Is there just a solution to buy new hoses and diverter valves as cheap maintenance. I just want to go in with my eyes wide open so I can make sure I am not replacing two turbos in 6 months.

- stealthy if you don't go for Nogaro or Imola
- power when you need it
- AWD for all-seasons
- very nice interior
- 19-21 city mpg
Most problems are minor. On the other hand, it's a roll of the dice with the turbos. I'm still on my stock turbos at 63K miles. Stage II at 10K, stage II+ at 26K. My commute is 60 miles per day and I've done 10 track days with the car.

I think I would go with a chip which you could switch back and forth for stock or high HP settings for winter driving.

Maint. issues have been no more than any other car that I've owned. I feel that its a great complete package for everyday use. All wheel drive, fast, comfortable and pretty good on fuel.

Where can one look for a good 3rd party warranty? I'm looking for an S4 as daily driver, but it's out of warranty and has 68k miles.
